I first tried writing in 1979, by doing an essay on diversity, harmony, expectations, growth and creativity. It seemed to me that these concepts were very basic to the human condition. I wanted to improve my writing skills, so I went back to college for freshman composition because it had been 40 years since school and eventually took 35 liberal arts and science courses at Tarrant County Junior College and some Community Ed courses at the University of Dallas. I also studied reading, writing and speech to improve my self-expression skills.

I am an avid reader in a wide variety of subjects such as poetry, physics, astrophysics, engineering, mathematics, mythology, philosophy, religion, Eastern culture, New Age, literature, spiritualism and even UFO studies. I think that I have something unique to offer in my writing.

The poetry and prose in free verse in my writing come from insights into ordinary matters. The reader’s contemplation is encouraged in the areas of philosophy, economics, functioning organizations, human nature, ecosystems, government and others. The generous use of white space on some of the printed material helps the reader ponder the themes.
